The R.O.M.E. (Robot Ontology Micro Electronics)

Laboratory builds low-cost robot prototypes using COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) parts and Raspberry PI and Arduino processors driven by:

T.O.O.L.S. (Transparent Ontologies and Observable Logics) and S.A.R.A.A. (Safe Autonomous Robot Application Architecture) . Environmental monitoring and analysis is the primary application of the robot prototypes built at ROME. ROME designs and tests E.L.R.O.I. (Epistemic Logic Robot with Ontological Inferencing) class robots that are meant to demonstrate viable alternatives to bio-inspired and behavior-based robot designs.
